Additional topics include the weather, possessives such as my, your, his/hers, and more in depth theory on the grammar and regularly used verbs.
Learning a language can boost your brain!
Learning a new language does far more than expand communication - it reshapes the brain itself. Studies using MRI scans show that bilinguals develop denser grey matter, stronger white matter pathways, and greater cognitive reserves than monolinguals.
These neurological changes aren’t confined to childhood; adults also benefit from the “novelty plus practice” cycle of acquiring and reinforcing new language skills. The result is sharper memory, improved concentration, and stronger academic performance across literacy, maths, and science. Language learning also boosts creativity, empathy, and communication, making it not just a practical skill but a powerful way to strengthen the mind.
